A law school graduate and digital geek, I spent decades working for startups and corporates in London. In 2017 I finally managed to escape the rat race and moved to beautiful Northumberland, where life is slower, the air is clean and you can hear the seals singing in the summer months.  

Now I can walk on the beach, swim in the freezing North Sea with the occasional seal and dedicate more time to my writing.

I live on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and write in my garden shed with views of a Castle (though I have to keep the blinds closed, so I'm not distracted).
